Phase I · Observe

Build a neutral baseline

The first phase of the Quiet Method: document the current public surface without amplifying noise.

Good decisions begin with a stable view. Observation is a bounded measurement phase, not an endless search for every possible mention.

01

Fix the query set

Choose a short group of exact and ordinary searches. Preserve spelling, quotation marks, viewing state, and date so the next review is comparable.

02

Classify each finding

Separate live-source issues, stale search displays, duplicates, images, and harmless name matches. The class determines who can change it.

03

Record only what matters

Keep the result, action, status, ranking, and next step. Capture sensitive detail only when it is necessary to prove the specific issue.

The phase is finished when the baseline can be repeated and each actionable item has a clear owner.
